We’re thrilled to announce that our parent company, Zerology, has been named a 2020 Dane County Climate Champion by the Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change.
The Dane County Climate Champions program is a key initiative of Dane County’s 10-year Climate Action Plan and recognizes the progress local entities are making to address climate change.
We’re also excited to note that Zerology was one of two entities recognized as a 4-Star Climate Champion. This recognition is awarded to entities that achieve 100% success in eliminating at least one source of emissions.
As our friends at Zerology shared with the Dane County team, “Transportation accounts for the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. Our motivation is to make it easier for people to take shared rides, preferably in electric vehicles, so we can head towards a greener future.”
We’re proud to be recognized by our community for our work, and we’re committed to continue providing a zero-emissions taxi service to Dane County residents into 2021 and beyond!
