As the coronavirus outbreak is impacting our community, the safety of our passengers, drivers, and staff remains a top priority.
We have added additional steps to our standard, daily vehicle cleaning schedule, which include the following:
• We introduced industrial and hospital grade strength disinfectant sprays for cleaning interior and exterior door handles multiple times daily.
• We have enhanced our check in/out procedures for additional oversight on these enhanced cleaning practices. Our Fleet Management team is onsite overseeing these requirements.
• We have provided anti-bacterial wipes to our drivers to use immediately following individual rides. We are also offering our drivers plastic gloves and face masks (on order, will be distributed to drivers once received).
We have asked drivers who are sick or may have come in contact with others that have been exposed to coronavirus to stay home and recover over the next several weeks. We have shared this and our mandatory cleaning practices internally as well as on our social media channels.
Finally, we have moved all rides to direct. Under no circumstance will shared rides be given through May 26th, though, we will continue to honor the shared ride pricing for all riders. We will revisit these terms the week of May 26th based on how the situation develops. In the meantime, will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates regularly.
