Does it cost anything to get started?

There is a $25 permit fee assessed by the City. The State charges $5 for online access to your driving record or come down to our office and we will retrieve your abstract for free. Orientation is provided by green cab at no cost to you.

How much money can I expect to make?

Green cab drivers earn great money and we like that. Select from various shifts, take advantage of our split shift options and learn the shared ride driving advantage. Earn on average $16 to $30 per hour and tipping is always on at green cab.

How much are lease fees?

Lease fees range between $8.00 to $12.50 per hour, depending on the equipment and services you lease.

What shifts are available?

Work part time, full time, weekends, or a few hours here and there. It’s all up to you.

What are the requirements to becoming a driver?

Independent contractors must be 21 with a good driving record and a regular driver’s license is required. All prospective drivers are subject to city background checks and must be approved by company’s insurance.
